
About Lauren Pizzicaroli
After earning a BA in Management Practice in Ireland, Lauren travelled from Canada to England to pursue a BA in Creative Writing and Screenwriting at The University of Worcester. During her time in academics, she honed her screenwriting skills and received training in screenplay analysis.

Before completing her degree, Lauren secured a position with Dr. Rebekah Louisa Smith, renowned in the industry as The Film Festival Doctor. As Executive Assistant, Lauren plays a key role in supporting filmmakers throughout their festival runs. This includes managing festival submissions and deliverables and leading BIFA, BAFTA, and Oscar campaigns.

After working with The Film Festival Doctor, Lauren ventured into script consultancy and has helped filmmakers from around the world with their screenplays.​ She draws on her knowledge of film festival strategization and experience as a film festival judge when helping writers craft their stories.
She has served as a jury member for numerous esteemed festivals including Beeston Film Festival 2023-2025, The London Lift-Off Film Festival 2023 & 2024, NZ Web Fest 2023 & 2024, Tees Valley International Film Festival Scholarship 2024, The British Short Film Awards 2024, USA Film Festival 2024, Oak Cliff Film Festival 2023, and the National Youth Film Awards (NYFA) 2022. She has been a script reader for The UK Film Festival - London and the Big Apple Film Festival and Screenplay Competition.

Lauren's most recent screenplay, TONY, is currently doing the festival circuit and has received numerous accolades thus far.
