For each service, a follow-up consultation is provided to ensure screenwriters fully understand feedback before writing their next draft or submitting their script.

Screenwriters can directly message Lauren with any questions or concerns after their follow-up consultation. Unlike other services that offer one-time feedback, we ensure writers can ask questions so they can move forward with clarity and confidence.

Early Development

Outline Analysis

Before writers begin their first draft, Lauren will provide an in-depth analysis of their materials, which can include an outline, beat sheet, character breakdowns, etc. to ensure writers are confident in the direction of their script before their first draft .

Writing and Drafting

Script Coverage

Script Coverage gives writers an analysis of their script’s strengths, and weaknesses and brief suggestions for improvements. It also outlines where your script stands regarding market readiness and commercial potential.

Script Report

A Script Report provides writers with an in-depth analysis of their script. Unlike coverage, this service is designed to give writers detailed, actionable feedback.

Revision Analysis

A Revision Analysis is for writers who have received script coverage or a script report and would like to know if they have implemented feedback correctly, highlighting whether key changes have been effectively integrated and if the revisions improve the script. It does not offer extensive feedback like script notes but provides clarity of the quality of revisions.

Editing and Formatting

Proofreading, Polishing and Formatting Service

The Proofreading, Polishing and Formatting Service corrects grammatical errors, typos and spelling issues, and ensures your screenplay is formatted to industry standards. This service does not cover edits to the plot, characters, themes or dialogue.

Festivals and Competitions

Screenplay Festival and Competition Strategy

With a tailored strategy, writers can submit their scripts with confidence, targeting the right festivals and avoiding wasted submission fees. This service includes a comprehensive analysis of the screenplay from a festival juror’s perspective, a personalized strategy with 40 recommended competitions and festivals, a checklist of required submission materials, and a final review of the writer’s materials and FilmFreeway page before submitting.
